Skype Not Working With Vodafone Mobile Broadband

I've now installed Skype on my smartphone and it's connected to my broadband over wifi. It costs 1.6p/minute to call UK landlines and 17.1p/minute to call UK mobiles. Using it I can talk via Skype and other VoIP softphones and do other 'forbidden' things. You can hear first 5 seconds of every skype call then it gets jumbled!
