As I hit the space bar, Sibelius will not allow the hairpin to extend much further past the second whole note. You will have to delete and re-add any crescendos created in earlier builds. It's easy! Individual layers will be softer/louder until they cross into the zone of another velocity layer, at which point a different sample will be used. this
